Caltex Delo® Gear EP-5 SAE 80W-90 - API GL-5 Gear Oil
Caltex Delo® Gear EP-5 is a premium-quality extreme pressure (EP) gear lubricant engineered for the demanding lubrication requirements of hypoid and other automotive gear systems. Formulated with high-quality base oils and advanced EP additive technology, it delivers outstanding protection for axles, differentials, and manual transmissions in trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles operating under severe conditions.
Key Benefits
- API GL-5 Certified - Meets the most stringent performance requirements for hypoid gears operating under high-speed, shock-load, and high-torque, low-speed conditions.
- Superior Gear Protection - Advanced EP additives form a robust protective film on gear surfaces, minimizing wear and extending component life even under extreme pressure and heavy loads.
- Excellent Thermal Stability - Resists oxidation and thermal breakdown at high operating temperatures, maintaining viscosity and lubricant integrity throughout extended drain intervals.
- Outstanding Rust & Corrosion Protection - Effectively protects metal surfaces against rust and corrosion caused by moisture and contaminants, ensuring long-term reliability.
- Wide Temperature Performance - SAE 80W-90 viscosity grade provides reliable lubrication across a broad range of operating temperatures, from cold start-up to high-heat running conditions.
- Foam Resistance - Anti-foam additives prevent foam formation, ensuring consistent oil film and uninterrupted gear protection.
